A Police Officer Stabs A Bar Owner to Death

A police officer in Baringo County is in custody after he allegedly stabbed and killed a bar owner at Kipsaraman buying and selling centre in Baringo North following a quarrel over Ksh.450.

The 32-year-old Administration Police (AP) officer known as Victor Ruto attacked Reuben Cherotich, 43, after he demanded that he (officer) pays his Ksh.450 bill.

The suspect unleashed a knife from his pocket and stabbed the bar proprietor at the neck.

Baringo County Police Commander Robinson Ndiwa showed the incident, pronouncing the sufferer succumbed to accidents at the same time as being rushed to hospital.

“They picked a short quarrel and fought earlier than the officer pulled out a knife, stabbing him at the neck,” stated the police boss. “The suspect has been arrested and he will be arraigned in courtroom docket as quickly as feasible to reply to homicide charges.”
