KCSE Candidates From Kisumu County Lauded For Avoiding Exam Malpractice

Simon Nabukwesi, the Principal secretary for University Education And Research had congratulated KCSE candidates in Kisumu County for not involving themselves in exam cheating since the Kick off of the national exam.

Addressing students at Lions high school, he encouraged them to remain focussed and avoid any distractors that may hinder them from attaining their best results.

He also reminded them that the KCSE exam is what will determine their future, as in whether they will join University, colleges or Vocational training colleges.

“I am encouraging you on behalf of the ministry of education to remain focussed and avoid activities that will stray your concentration to enable you achieve the best”, he added.

Nabukwesi also encouraged the candidates to make their application for University as early as this through the Kenya Universities and College Placement Service (KUCCPS) so as to benefit also from the government sponsorship through Higher Education Loans Board ( HELB).

The PS was talking this in Kisumu where he was observing the opening and distribution of today’s exam papers.
