KNEC Advertises Jobs In The Following Subject Areas

High school teachers who are not yet assessors have been requested to apply for positions of assessors for KCSE oral and practical papers. Those teachers who will be selected for these positions will undergo training during the assessment of the 2021 KCSE candidates.

During the application process, teachers who are already assessors in various subject area have no chance to apply.

The Kenya National Examination Council ( LKNEC ) is mandated to administer and assess students at both basic and tertiary institutions. It is also mandated to certify learners who sit for National Examinations.

Qualified and interested teachers are invited to make their applications as follows:

KCSE oral and practical Examination papers

Secondary Teachers will be recruited in the following papers;

1.French Oral501/3
2.German Oral502/3
3.Arabic Oral503/3
4.4 Kenya Sign Language (KSL)504/3
5.Music Practical511

Requirements For Recruitment

  1. Meet all the qualifications set for recruitment
  2. Be a practicing teacher in the relevant subject area
  3. Diploma in Education and above
  4. Minimum of 3 teaching experience
  5. Registered by the Teachers Service Commission ( TSC )
  6. Must be recommended by the Head of Institution
  7. Should not be faced with disciplinary action from the employer
  8. Must be below 50 years of age

Procedure on How to apply

Applicants will be expected to access the online form using the link;, fill in their respective personal details and print the same form.

They will further be required to fill in sections 2.0 and 4.0 manually, attach the documents listed in the application form and submit to KNEC to reach the Council on or before 30th September, 2021.

Only qualified Teachers/Tutors who have presented all the required documents will be shortlisted for the assessment exercise.
