KUCCPS Placement Results And how to Check Where You have Been placed

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the date when 2021/2022 placement results for 2020 KCSE candidates will be released. According to the latest communication from the placement agency, students will know their university where they have been placed by August 16th, 2021.


These results have been processed over the next few weeks following the conclusion of revision of options on July 23, 2021, for those applying for placements at local universities and colleges, KUCCPS said in a statement.


“We are keen to conclude the process and release the results to all applicants by mid-August, 2021,” said Dr Agnes Mercy Wahome, Chief Executive Officer, KUCCPS.


Revision of courses and options which was in its third and final round was scheduled to close on July 17, 2021, but KUCCPS gave one week extension to mobilize more applicants and ensure that no eligible candidate is left behind .


“A total of 4,359 candidates availed the extension and revised their degree options. Overall, more than 90% of all the candidates who qualified for the degree courses applied,” read the statement.


“From May 24, 2021, KUCCPS is rallying all the 2020 KCSE Exam candidates to apply for placement in universities and colleges for sponsorship in artisan, certificate, diploma or degree courses of their choice.”


KUCCPS said it has also targeted secondary school graduates with any average grade from the year 2000 to 2020 for placement and government sponsorship to TVET institutions.

How to Check Course and University admitted to online

1. Visit: http://students.kuccps.net/

2. Login with your details as follows;

Username: (Use your full Index Number)

Year: (2019)

Password: (Use your Birth Certificate Number)

3. After login you should see the university that you have been placed as shown in the image below


NOTE 1: You will also receive an sms of the university you have been placed after processing of details of those who did second revision is completed.


NOTE 2: Details of the course and university you have been placed after second revision will be available on the kuccps portal after processing of details of those who did second revision is completed.


Your admission letter will be sent in late July or August. However, most institutions like Moi University, University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Maseno University do not send admission letters via posta. You will just have to download them online.
