This is a community of boys who ride high school in Nairobi, Kenya. The school was founded in 1949 by Colonial Governor Philip Euen Mitchell. The founding principal was RH James. The school was originally called the Duke of York school and the first students were housed in the then British House of Representatives as they awaited the completion of the school.

Initially, it was a white-only school where teachers and students were white and all cleaning work was done by the residents under them. The railway passes right in front of the school, making it much easier for the boys to be selected or removed from the school.
After Kenya gained its independence in 1963, black and Asian students began to be accepted into the school. It was renamed Lenana School in 1969 after the leader contacted the Maasai people.
