List of top ten Private Health Facilities In Kenya

How we ranked the top 10 private hospitals in Kenya
The metric used to rank these hospitals is based on three operational factors: infrastructure, human resources and customer ratings. Here’s how we do it.

facilities
This includes the infrastructure and equipment that the hospital has. First, the bed space should be sufficient for the patients. Such facilities must accommodate patient privacy requirements. However, the number of patients should not put too much pressure on the available resources. Therefore, the hospital should have adequate modern equipment for the treatment, diagnosis and treatment of the clients.

qualified human resources
How many qualified doctors are there in the hospital? What is the number of dentists, paediatricians, gynecologists, surgeons, opticians and other specialists available in the hospital? Then, what is the sum of the qualified nurses and medical assistants in the facility? A hospital with a largely motivated workforce will certainly outperform smaller clinics and health centres. In addition, hospitals that specialize in specific areas of treatment gain authority in those respective areas.

customer Rating
This is the hardest part when it comes to rating a private healthcare facility. Patients often become biased. So, we chose hospitals based on the way they deliver their services. For example, are front office services computerized or do people queue for long periods of time? How often are bedsheets attended? How is the quality of the food provided to the patients? How comfortable is the hospital- is it a home away from home?
