Untimely Death For TSC TPD As Universities Selected Sends A Chilling Message

The Teachers Service Commission TSC, through the leadership of Chief executive officer CEO Dr Nancy Macharia, is the commission in Kenya under the ministry of education headed by education cabinet secretary professor George Magoha, has mandate to hire, promote, deploy, transfer and fire teachers across the country.

The teachers service commission TSC Chief executive officer CEO Dr Nancy macharia had directed all the teachers to enroll to Teacher Professional Development TPD modules.courses which is supposed to be offered in the few selected universities across the country.

However, According to the trusted source of information from Teachers Service Commission TSC, few universities have applied to offer the training.

According to teachers service commission TSC Chief executive officer CEO Dr Nancy Macharia, only eight universities have applied to offer the Teacher professional development TPD courses training for teachers.

However the Universities do not meet the requirements of offering the Training .

Those Universities that have offered to offer these modules have however given the teachers service commission a signal about the number of teachers who have managed to enroll for the program.

These universities have gone ahead to Threaten that they will stop offering the modules if they don’t meet the threshold of teachers.

This has been occasioned by splinter groups that have vowed never to attend to the program and are on the move to intoxicate those who have already enrolled for it terming it unconstitutional and uncalled for.

Yesterday, the TSC Boss Dr. Nancy Macharia said that several universities offering educational courses including world class universities like Kenyatta and Nairobi University did not tender to offer the Program.

This is a show that the universities are also against this program and are seeing it as a waste of time and being underated as those teachers who are going back for the modules are alumni of the University implying that they are offering substandard Education.

As we await for the verdict from court, it’s evident and clear that teachers will not attend the modules even if the court supports the move.
